things are going… a little too well…

Hello, Hi it’s been a while I know, but HOLYY SH*T have I been super busy.

From new camera equipment, to new clients and loads of work to get through.

So where do we begin? I guess the most important bit… the new kit! So prior to this month I have been rocking a Sony A7IV duo’d with a 24mm Sigma Contemporary 3.5 prime lens (I won on a sigma giveaway on instagram.) Don’t get me wrong this lens was good and it dealt with a lot of bits I was doing really well… BIG BUT, it wasn’t very versatile, wide lens meant for a lot of wide shots, struggling to make things look overly special due to the lack of bokeh the lens offered. So one day I borrowed a lens of a good friend (@jaycee_media) his 24-70mm G master lens was absolutely unreal on the few shoots I used it for and I got a real feeling for that focal length. Now I didn’t have the pennies to cop the G master so I settled on a 24-70mm 2.8 Sigma DG DN II, and can I just say… OMFG it’s an absolute beast, the bokeh it offers, the compression and overall build quality its phenomenal. If you are eyeing up a lens that’s going to cover everything, this is the one for you!

So, where does that leave us, NEW kit that is absolutely amazing, and the work currently oh ye, every day is different, work is varied and I’m just surfing the wave. Feeling positive and tired from the 24/7 editing I’m doing but wouldn’t change it one bit.

Moving forward more gear will be getting acquired and I think some investment into my editing capabilities and knowledge behind the entire business.
